Sandwiched in between those two performances were games of four points, 8 points, and 8 points. He's simply not consistent enough on a night-to-night basis.

Bassey has been fairly consistent over the last handful of games, scoring at least seven points in each of his last four and notching a double-double against the Pelicans a week ago. Still, he's not in starter territory and shouldn't be thought of as one, and is best left on waivers.
