Availability
Brandin Podziemski (abdomen) is unavailable for Saturday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Fantasy Impact
Podziemski will be sidelined on Saturday. He's managing an abdomen injury right now, and the team will let him sit out while he recovers. Stephen Curry (knee) is also out for the Warriors, which will leave Dennis Schroder and Buddy Hield with more opportunites against Memphis.
Brandin Podziemski scored eight points (3-9 FG, 2-5 3P) with two rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the Warriors' 91-90 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Podziemski was quiet in his 31 minutes of playtime, and while he tied for the most points off of the Warriors bench, fantasy managers are left wanting more. He's still a good player and can become more of a factor as the season progresses, but for now it looks like he's taken a step back from a promising rookie campaign.
Brandin Podziemski posted a near double-double for the Warriors Friday night, dishing out two assists, grabbing six rebounds, recording two steals, and chipping in eight points in a 107-90 loss to the Timberwolves.
Fantasy Impact
Podziemski continues an impactful stretch on both ends of the floor, finishing with two or more assists, four or more rebounds, and eight or more points in each of his last five games. The 21-year-old continues to flash the ability to disrupt the game when on the floor on a nightly basis, averaging 8.0 points, 3.4 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game to go along with a usage rate of 16.3% so far this season.
Brandin Podziemski filled the stat sheet for the Warriors Wednesday night, grabbing eight rebounds, blocking one shot, dishing out five assists, and scoring 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-3 FT) in a 105-101 loss to the Thunder.
Fantasy Impact
Podziemski has offered modest output on the offensive end of the floor, dishing out at least two assists in each of the last five games. The versatile guard has struggled to provide consistent scoring whether starting or coming off of the bench to this point, averaging 7.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game to go along with a 16.5% usage rate so far this season.
Brandin Podziemski has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.
Fantasy Impact
Podziemski is looking to avoid missing a second straight game. Buddy Hield would likely see some more minutes if he remains sidelined.
