Amar'e Stoudemire has officially retired from the NBA. Stoudemire spent the past season in Jerusalem and now will go out after 14 seasons in the NBA and his last stint in Miami in 2015. Stoudemire played for the Suns, Heat, Knicks and Mavericks.
Fantasy Impact
Stoudemire was one of the best while playing Phoenix but took a huge decline while playing in New York and was limited to a backup role in Dallas and Miami. Stoudemire will go down as a fantasy stud in Phoenix.
Stoudemire started for the second straight game with the injured Hassan Whiteside on the sidelines. However, Stoudemire played just three minutes on Wednesday scoring zero points with one rebound and one steal in the Heat 99-91 loss.
Fantasy Impact
Even without Whiteside, Stoudemire is not a factor for the Heat and should not be used in fantasy lineups.
Stoudemire scored 16 points in just 15 minutes on Tuesday in the Heat 113-99 victory over the Pelicans. Stoudemire also grabbed nine rebounds.and blocked two shots.

Stoudemire continues to start for the Heat but only plays about 15 minutes a game. Stoudemire's double-figure outburst was his first since March 4th. Stoudemire can be left on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Amar'e Stoudemire will return to Friday's game. He suffered a head laceration but did not require stitches.

Good news for the Heat and their depleted bench. Stoudemire has averaged 16.2 minutes per game since the All-Star break and will likely see close to 20 minutes again against the 76ers.
