Alexis Ajinca has been traded to the LA Clippers on Monday in exchange for F Wes Johnson. Ajinca missed most of last season with a knee injury and is expected to be cut by the Clippers.
Fantasy Impact
No fantasy changes here for the Clippers as they expect to release Ajinca at some point. However, in NOLA it crowds the three spot with players like Troy Williams, Wes Johnson, Darius Miller, and Solomon Hill fighting for minutes.
Alexis Ajinca had surgery again on his injured left patellar tendon and will miss another four months which effectively rules him out for the season.
Fantasy Impact
Ajinca may not have been in the rotation even with DeMarcus Cousins out as Emeka Okafor and Nikola Mirotic are locked in behind Anthony Davis for minutes. Ajinca should be back in NOLA as he's on the books for $5 million.
Alexis Ajinca will miss at least 4-to-6 months after surgery on his right patellar tendon. Ajinca is effectively out for the season with Omer Asik and Cheick Diallo picking up more minutes.
Fantasy Impact
Ajinca shouldn't be on any rosters anyway but this ends his chances. DeMarcus Cousins is locked in as a first-round pick once again returning first-round value.
Alexis Ajinca will miss at least four weeks and as much as six weeks after successful knee injections. Check Diallo will see a few more minutes as Omer Asik is also out. Anthony Davis will also see more minutes at center.
Fantasy Impact
The Pelicans are thin at center with both Asik and Ajinca out so the team could look to add another center. Diallo holds almost no fantasy value at this point. It means more Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.
Alexis Ajinca has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies with a right knee injury. Omer Asik is also out so DeMarcus Cousins will see plenty of mintues with Cheick Diallo seeing more minutes.
Fantasy Impact
The Pelicans are thin at center behind Cousins with both Asik and Ajinca out. Cousins is a must-start player even in a tough matchup against Marc Gasol. Anthony Davis will likely see time at center and is also a must-start.
