Aaron Brooks will join the Wolves camp looking for a backup role behind Jeff Teague. Tyus Jones could use some veteran help and Brooks played for Coach Thibs before.

Brooks could make the team and be an option off the bench for the Wolves. He's unlikely to make a fantasy impact with Teague and Jones there.

Aaron Brooks played a season-high 28 minutes on Wednesday, scoring 18 points on 6-of-15 shooting. He also recorded two rebounds, one assist and one block.

Fantasy Impact

Brooks' scoring outburst was a big surprise, falling short of his season-high by just one point. He made the most of his time on the floor Wednesday as he was averaging just under 11 minutes per game in March. Don't expect this production to continue unless Teague gets injured.

Aaron Brooks saw 17 minutes of action off the bench, scoring nine points on 4-of-7 shooting. He dished out two assists and had one block.

Fantasy Impact

Brooks is buried on the bench in Indiana but is capable of providing value in assists and threes when he gets the opportunity. If Jeff Teague is forced to miss a game for any reason, Brooks makes a strong punt play option in daily games.

Aaron Brooks will make his season debut with the Pacers tonight against the Lakers. Brooks missed time due to a knee injury but practiced in full on Monday.

Brooks will play a limited role but could see additional minutes down the road with Rodney Stuckey out with an injury.

Brooks going to Indiana will add more depth to a team trying to add all the right pieces around star Paul George. Indiana is hoping the depth will help them make a deep playoff run. In regards to fantasy, Brooks will have his days in DFS but is not worth drafting come draft day.
