Pelican guard Bryce Dejean-Jones dies of gunshot

The agent for former Iowa State and current New Orleans Pelican guard, Bryce Dejean-Jones, has confirmed that the 23-year-old has died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen. (Travis Hines on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's terrible news for the NBA and Dejean-Jones' family. After playing multiple 10-day contracts with the club, he was signed to a three-year contract in February. He was undrafted in 2015, but ended up starting 11 games for the Pelicans before undergoing season-ending surgery for a broken right wrist.
