Gafford has been sidelined since early February due to a knee injury, but it looks like he is very close to a return for the Mavericks. He has been upgraded to doubtful for Saturday's game, so while he's unlikely to play, this is a massive step in the right direction for him. Expect Kai Jones to see decreased work whenever Gafford is back in the lineup for the Mavericks.
