Elfrid Payton signs second 10-day contract with Hornets

Elfrid Payton and the Hornets have agreed to a second 10-day contract, extending his stay in Charlotte.
Fantasy Impact:
Payton previously had a short stint with the Pelicans earlier this season before joining the Hornets. In two appearances with Charlotte, he has averaged 2.0 points, 5.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 27.5 minutes per game. While his scoring remains minimal, his ability to contribute in assists and steals could provide some short-term value in deeper leagues.
