Deandre Ayton flirted with a double-double for the Trailblazers Monday night, grabbing nine rebounds and scoring 16 points (8-11 FG) while also recording two steals in a 132-108 loss to the Mavericks.

Ayton continues a steady stretch on both ends of the floor, grabbing eight or more rebounds and scoring 14 or more points in each of his last four games. The center has fought consistency issues as part of an underwhelming Portland starting five to this point, averaging 14.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game to go along with a 19.3% usage rate so far this season.
