Derrick Favors has been traded to the Houston Rockets in an eight-player deal that also sends Ty Jerome, Moe Harkless, Theo Maledon, and a 2025 first-round pick in exchange for David Nwaba, Sterling Brown, Trey Burke, and Marquese Chriss. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
He will provide excellent backup minutes at center in Houston behind Alperen Sengun. Favors had just exercised a $10.2 million player option with the Thunder this offseason. Favors averaged 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 51.6% from the field in 16.7 minutes while playing 39 games last season in Oklahoma City.
