Malaki Branham working out with Knicks, Cavaliers

Ohio State Buckeye Guard Malaki Branham worked out with the New York Knicks, and has a workout scheduled with the Cleveland Cavaliers next, according to Ian Begley of sny.tv. (Ian Begley on Twitter)

Malaki Branham is currently being mocked as a mid first round pick, right in the general area both the Cavs and Knicks will be drafting. Of the two teams working Branham out, the Cavaliers would represent the clearest path to playing time early in his career, as they have Caris LeVert signed only through this upcoming season, along with the potential departure of Collin Sexton. The 19-year-old from Columbus averaged 13.7 points and shot 41.6 percent from three in his only season with the Buckeyes.
