Potential lottery pick Jeremy Sochan from Baylor dropped some hints into his desired location leading up to the 2022 NBA Draft during an interview with Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman, stating “They’re a very young team, very good at development … The organization’s great, and I feel like it’s a place to work and get better and focus really on basketball. I think it’d be a great fit for me.” Sochan was born in Guymon, OK, 265 miles from Oklahoma City. (Joe Mussatto on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 6'9", 230 pound freshman his been rising lately following the NBA combine, where he showcased his three-point abilities and speed. When asked in the same article in The Oklahoman about his skill-set, Sochan said, “I can be a playmaker from the four position kind of like a Draymond Green". Sochan is currently being mocked towards the back half of the lottery, and could fall to his home-state team with the 12th pick of the first round, but the closer we get to the draft, the more it looks like Sochan will sneak into the top-10.
