Elfrid Payton managed five points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, and three assists across 18 minutes during Friday’s 128-105 loss to the Suns.
Fantasy Impact:
Payton continues to start for the Knicks but has failed to reach double figures in scoring in 10 of his last 11 games. He’s taken a backseat in the Knicks rotation to veteran PG Derrick Rose. The 27-year-old guard is averaging 6.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 triples across 17.9 minutes during that 11-game span. Payton is mainly only an option in deep-league formats and will look to turn things around when the Knicks visit the Clippers on Sunday.
