David Lee will decline player option

David Lee is expected to decline his $2.3 million player option for next season as the free agency period is set to begin on July 1st. Lee has until June 27th to decline his option and he inclines to do so with the salary cap increase. (Tom Osborn on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Lee remains a solid role player and big off the bench as he starting days are all but over. Lee will likely join another contender or return to San Antonio. Either way, he's not worth a spot on your roster in fantasy next season.
