Vidal Nuno received the win on Tuesday against the Marlins. He pitched two scoreless innings allowing one hit and one walk while fanning three. He lowered his season ERA to 1.50.
Fantasy Impact
Nuno's most impressive feat of the night was he went 2-for-2 with an RBI. Nuno is not a fantasy viable player. If he could take over a steady role with the Rays his value could be reconsidered at that time.
Vidal Nuno pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings against the Mariners. He allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one. He lowered his season ERA to 1.74.
Fantasy Impact
Nuno is not as good as his ratios look on the season. He has a 3.48 SO/9 on the season to go with his 1.16 WHIP. Regression is going to come and it is going normalize his unstainable numbers. Nuno is not worth an add in any league format.
Vidal Nuno pitched three scoreless innings against the Orioles, getting his first win of the season. He allowed three hits and four walks while fanning one.
Fantasy Impact
Nuno was blessed to get by not allowing a run and receiving a win. He was downright awful today. He most likely will be sent back down before Tuesday when the Rays activate Nathan Eovaldi.
Vidal Nuno entered a tied game in the 11th inning and tossed a perfect inning with two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact
The Mariners would hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th and Nuno picked up his first win of the season. He has been good out of the pen this season with a solid 3.08 ERA.
In his second appearance of the season, the lefty long reliever and potential spot-starter recorded two strikeouts in a scoreless inning against the Rangers on Tuesday night.
Fantasy Impact
Nuno is not a viable fantasy option unless the Mariners' pitching depth takes a couple major hits, but it is encouraging to see him have success regardless.
