Tyler Cravy pitched two innings of relief on Sunday against the Cleveland Indians and allowed one walk while striking out one batter.
Fantasy Impact
Cravy pounded the strike zone, throwing nine of his 10 pitches for strikes. He won't be on any fantasy radars to start the season, but he has a chance to replace an injured starter in the rotation if the opportunity presents itself.
Tyler Cravy was ok in his second start for the Brewers, but less than stellar, tossing six innings of eight hit, four run ball. He walked one batter and struck out three while allowing a home run to A.J. Pierzynski.
Fantasy Impact
Cravy fared better than other Brewers pitchers like Kyle Lohse, but still wasn't able to keep runs off the board. Cravy is a speculative add in very deep NL-only leagues but other than that he's a guy the Brewers are using to eat up innings while their main starters Wily Peralta and Matt Garza are sidelined.
Tyler Cravy allowed one earned run on four hits in seven innings against the Cardinals on Tuesday. He also walked two and struckout six in the outing.
Fantasy Impact
Cravy took the tough-luck loss Tuesday, as the only run he allowed was on a single in the 2nd inning. Cravy dominated one of the better offenses in the majors, getting the Ks when he needed them. It's difficult to know if this outing was a sign of things to come, but Cravy should at least be grabbed in NL-Only leagues if he hasn't been already.
