Beede has an 8.36 ERA over 13 relief appearances for Cleveland this year. The 30-year-old was shelled in his last outing against Houston, giving up 5 runs in less than one inning. The Guardians have called up Peter Strzelecki from Triple-A to fill the roster spot.
