The Royals have optioned left-hander Noah Cameron to Triple-A Omaha, the team announced Monday.

Cameron, who earned a spot on the 40-man roster this offseason, showed promise in camp, posting a 7:1 K:BB over 10 innings while allowing five runs (four earned). Though he won’t break camp with the big-league club, the lefty remains a strong candidate to make starts for Kansas City at some point in 2025. He’ll open the season in the Omaha rotation, where he’ll continue to refine his command and build upon his spring performance.
