Eligibility
Kodai Senga is scheduled to throw another bullpen session on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Senga remains in "bullpen session/mechanics purgatory" as Healey puts it. He remains without a clear timetable to progress to facing live hitters.
Kodai Senga (shoulder) does not currently have a clear timeline for his rehab process.
Fantasy Impact
Back on April 29, Senga threw live batting practice and seemed to be on track to return from the 60-day IL when first eligible on May 27. That now feels like a stretch given the latest update Mets manager Carlos Mendoza, who said Sunday night that Senga will not face hitters again for at least the next week as the righty instead throws bullpen sessions to work on his mechanics. Senga is likely going to be out well into June at this point.
Kodai Senga threw a live batting practice session on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Senga was able to throw 32 pitches. The Mets are expected to give him a few days before deciding on if he needs another live batting practice session or if he can start a rehab assignment.
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is set to face live hitters Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Senga completed an up-and-down bullpen session on Thursday and is heading in the right direction. If he is able to get through facing live hitters without any setbacks, the Mets will likely send him out on a rehab assignment soon.
Kodai Senga threw a 26-pitch bullpen session on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
Senga was able to complete his second bullpen session. He'll likely look to face live hitters next before starting a rehab assignment.
