The Reds sent pitcher Josh Smith back to Triple-A Louisville the team said today. Smith was called up to the club on Monday, and never had a chance to make an appearance.

It's hard to say there is an impact here. Smith has not made any appearances, but that's not to say that he won't. The Reds obviously like his stuff, so I am sure we will see him sooner than later.
