The Chicago Cubs have signed former Yankees relief pitcher Jonathan Holder to a one-year contract.

The right-hander from Mississippi State has spent his entire five-year career with the Yankees and holds a pedestrian 4.38 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 165 K in 176.2 IP throughout his career.
