The San Francisco Giants have brought back pitcher Cody Stashak on a minor-league deal.
Fantasy Impact
The 30-year old didn't appear in the big leagues in 2023 as he worked his way back from 2022 labrum surgery. He made five appearances with Triple-A Sacramento in the Giants organization following a stint in independent Atlantic League ball in 2023, posting a 12.60 ERA in five frames. However, he also posted a 3.86 ERA or better in three of his four MLB seasons with the Twins and could affect the Giants bullpen in 2024 as a result.
Cody Stashak was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with lower-back inflammation.

Stashak picked up the back injury sometime during his previous outing. The move is retroactive to Wednesday, and he will miss at least the next 10-days. Stashak owned a 3.86 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 10 strikeouts across seven innings this season.
