Chris Tillman (back) will start again for Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Fantasy Impact
Tillman has struggled in his first three rehab starts failing to get out of the fourth inning in any of the appearances. Tillman has also struggled at the major league level with a 10.46 ERA over seven starts. When the veteran starter comes back from injury he can be avoided by fantasy owners.
Chris Tillman was put on the 10-day disabled list due to a lower-back strain.
Fantasy Impact
The Orioles didn't specify a timetable for Tillman. And the 30-year-old righty may not have a spot in the rotation when he does come back. Tillman has been awful this year and has five losses, 10.46 ERA, and 2.26 WHIP over seven starts. Fantasy owners do not need to stash Tillman.
Chris Tillman (1-4) earned his first win of the season by allowing only one hit and two walks over seven shutout innings and striking out five in Friday's 6-0 win over the Tigers.
Fantasy Impact
This was a surprising start as Tillman has been awful in his first four starts of the season. Despite the great outing on Friday, the 30-year-old righty has a 7.03 ERA and 1.80 WHIP. Fantasy owners should give Tillman a couple more starts to see if he can continue this success before picking him up.
Chris Tillman of the Orioles fell to 0-4 on Saturday versus the Cleveland Indians, allowing four runs on eight hits over six innings of work.
Fantasy Impact
Tillman walked one, struck out five, and allowed three homers in the outing. His ERA now stands at an ugly 9.87 on the year. He isn't anywhere close to being a streaming option in mixed leagues.
Chris Tillman fell to 0-2 on Saturday versus the Yankees, allowing five runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Fantasy Impact
Tillman also struck out three and walked four as the Orioles lost 8-3. He now has a 8.68 ERA through two starts and is very far off the fantasy radar.
