It's a bit surprising considering Crawford has $35 million remaining on his contract. Still, his production, or lack thereof, warranted the transaction, as he limped to an OPS of only .464 in 81 at-bats this season.

Crawford has struggled since being activated from the DL, only going 4-21 during that time frame. He is only hitting .200 on the year with four RBI's. With depth that the Dodger's have, Crawford will find playing time hard to come by. Unless he goes on a heater, he needs not to be owned.
