The Los Angeles Angels have signed catcher Caleb Hamilton to a minor-league deal.

Presumably, the deal will come with an invite to big-league camp. Hamilton appeared in just four games with the Red Sox in 2023. Known as a strong defensive catcher, Hamilton hit just .167 with four home runs across 42 games with Triple-A Worcester a season ago.
