The Mets acquired RH reliever Fernando Salas from the Angels in exchange for minor league RHP Erik Manoah. Salas has a 4.47 ERA and 1.26 WHIP this season with 45 strikeouts in 56 1/3 innings. (SNY on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The move should help the Mets preserve bullpen arms down the stretch. Salas, however, holds no fantasy value and should be ignored in all formats.
