Lucas Harrell to get the start Sunday

Newly acquired Lucas Harrell will get his first start in a Rangers uniform on Sunday in the finale of the series with Kansas City. Harrell was 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA in five starts for the Atlanta Braves. He threw six scoreless innings in his last start against the Twins, a team that beat the Rangers five out of seven times just before the All-Star break. (www.mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Harrell is auditioning for a spot in the rotation as the trade deadline approaches. The Rangers are in the hunt for a quality starter, but may also step back and see if Harrell and A.J. Griffin can hold down the fort until Colby Lewis and Derek Holland return at the end of August.
