Tim Adleman lasts just 3.1 innings, leaves with oblique strain
by Justin Elick | Fri, May 20th 10:40am EDT
Adleman lasted just 3.1 innings on Thursday night, allowing two earned runs on three hits before leaving the game with an oblique strain. He struck out three and walked two, with the big blow coming off the bat of Carlos Santana, who hit the first of his two home runs off Adleman in the 4th inning. The Reds couldn't muster much offense off Josh Tomlin, and lost yet again, this time by a count of 7-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Adleman isn't a fantasy-worthy play at any rate, but with the Reds' rotation already banged up, it will be interesting to see what happens if Adleman is forced to miss his next start. Keep your eye on this situation and potential effect on the rest of the rotation if Adleman can't make his next scheduled start Tuesday at the Dodgers.
