The rough spring for Seth Maness continued on Thursday as he was tagged for three runs on four hits, including a home run to Michael A. Taylor, over just 2/3 of an inning in relief of Adam Wainwright.

Maness is having a tough go of this spring so far with a 9.45 ERA over 6 2/3 innings pitched. Maness often struggles through spring but pitches well in the regular season, so this likely is not a big deal, and he should be a reliable bullpen options for the Cardinals this season.
