Kyle Kendrick released by Braves

The Atlanta Braves have released veteran pitcher Kyle Kendrick on Saturday, among the many moves reducing their spring roster. Kendrick allowed 14 hits and 10 runs, nine earned, in only 3 2/3 innings in his failed attempt to land one of the last two spots in the Braves' rotation. He also walked three batters. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
After eight seasons with division rival Philadelphia, Kendrick had a disappointing year in Colorado last year going 7-13. Look for him to get looked at by another team and signed to a minor league deal. However, it's hard see him have virtually any fantasy value moving forward
