Nolan Gorman is out of both Cardinals’ split-squad lineups Friday due to illness, per team updates, aiming for a weekend return before spring ends. (John Denton)

#STLCards manager Oliver Marmol said 2B Nolan Gorman and 3B Nolan Arenado are out of action today for different reasons. Gorman is out because of an illness, while Arenado will work in a back-field simulated game where he can get 3-4 ABs without beating up his body in a ST game.
