James Outman optioned to Triple-A Wednesday

by Bruno Mulé | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Mar 19th 12:28pm EDT

The Dodgers sent James Outman to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, per team updates, after he rode the bench as the fourth outfielder in the Tokyo Series against the Cubs. (Los Angeles Dodgers)

Fantasy Impact:

Outman, on the Dodgers’ Tokyo Series roster, didn’t play versus the Cubs, losing out to versatile Chris Taylor, Tommy Edman, and Enrique Hernández, landing in Oklahoma City Wednesday. The 27-year-old’s role shrinks. Fantasy managers in deep dynasty leagues should stash him, expecting his bat to push for a midseason call-up if Los Angeles needs outfield help in 2025.
