Fantasy Impact:
Goldschmidt would have been owed a $21.05 million contract if he signed a qualifying offer. The veteran is expected to sign elsewhere as a free agent as reports have stated the Cardinals are not looking to negotiate with Goldschmidt on a lesser salary.
