Stuart Fairchild has been placed on the 10-day IL due to a left thumb strain, retroactive to 8/26. (Cincinnati Reds on X)

Fantasy Impact:

It's unclear how long Fairchild will be forced out of action, but he will need at least ten days to return to the lineup. Rece Hinds was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.
