Patrick Corbin had a rough outing in Saturday's narrow 5-4 victory over the Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
He allowed four earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out only two over four innings. Despite the Nationals pulling off the win, Corbin's performance continues to be a concern for fantasy managers. His season ERA now sits at an inflated 5.98, coupled with a WHIP of 1.56, which are far from ideal numbers. The left-hander's inability to suppress hits and limit walks makes him a risky play in most fantasy formats. His lack of strikeouts, with a mere 6.7 K/9, further diminishes his appeal. Fantasy managers should consider other more reliable options, as Corbin's current form offers little upside.
