Benintendi blasts two, but Sox fall short

by Chris Schommer | White Sox Correspondent | Sat, Aug 10th 9:50am EDT

Andrew Benintendi went 2-for-4 in the loss to the Cubs with two home runs, two runs scored, and two RBI.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the White Sox's narrow defeat, Benintendi's multi-homer game was a silver lining in what has been a challenging season for the outfielder. His batting average remains low at .214, and while his power numbers have seen a slight uptick with 13 homers, his overall production hasn't been what fantasy managers hoped for. His wOBA and BABIP suggest he's been somewhat unlucky, but not drastically so. Moving forward, while games like this showcase his potential, consistent production remains a concern. Fantasy managers should view Benintendi as a risky play with moderate upside.
