Jared Shuster allowed three earned runs on five hits while striking out five over 2.2 innings in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
This outing was less than stellar for Shuster, who has been struggling to find consistency this season. With a season ERA now bloated to 4.66 and a WHIP of 1.52, his fantasy relevance remains limited to very deep leagues or those that count holds and strikeouts heavily. His K/9 of 6.7 isn't turning many heads, and with a FIP of 4.87 indicating his struggles aren't just bad luck, fantasy managers should be cautious.
