Andrew Vaughn went 1-for-5 with a home run and an RBI in the White Sox's narrow loss to the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the solo blast contributing to his season tally, Vaughn's performance this year remains underwhelming with a .235 batting average and modest power numbers. His 14th homer of the season does little to elevate his fantasy stock, given his high strikeout rate and low walk rate. Fantasy managers should view Vaughn as a situational play rather than a regular starter, as his current form and metrics do not promise significant upside.
