Ramon Laureano homers, but Braves fall short

by Chris Schommer | Braves Correspondent | Sat, Aug 10th 9:27am EDT

Ramon Laureano went 1-for-4 with a home run and an RBI in the Braves' 6-5 loss to the Rockies.

Fantasy Impact:

Laureano's solo shot was a bright spot in an otherwise dim season, where he's batting just .199 with four homers across 56 games. His power display offers a glimmer of hope for fantasy managers, but with a high strikeout rate and minimal walks, his overall value remains limited. Unless he can find a way to consistently reach base and cut down on strikeouts, Laureano's fantasy relevance will continue to be as sporadic as his home run tally.
