The Braves have recalled Chadwick Tromp from Triple-A Gwinnett. (Braves on Twitter)

Tromp will serve as the backup catcher for the Braves after Travis d'Arnaud was placed on the paternity list. Tromp has a .250 average with six RBI in 19 games with the Braves this season.
