Malloy was promoted to take the roster spot of the demoted Spencer Torkelson on Monday and will start at designated hitter and hit sixth against Rangers righty Nathan Eovaldi. Malloy has hit .253 with six homers, three stolen bases, a 20% BB%, and an .883 OPS across 45 games this season with Triple-A Toledo.
