San Francisco Giants OF Justin Maxwell was designated for assignment on Tuesday after five players were added to the expanded roster. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Although this may have come as a surprise to some in the baseball world it is not a move fantasy owners will notice. Maxwell hit .209 with seven home runs and 26 RBIs while playing 100 games for the Giants, but spent most of his time on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.
