Sean Newcomb to begin season on injured list

Fantasy Impact:
Newcomb inked a one-year deal with the A's this offseason but will miss the beginning of the season with a knee issue. The left-hander posted a 3.00 ERA across seven outings with the A's in 2023 and posted an identical ERA in four spring outings this season prior to the injury.
