Orioles pitcher Bruce Zimmermann (core) says he expects to be a full go for spring training. (Steve Melewski at masnsports.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Zimmermann underwent core muscle surgery on Oct. 19 and told Melewski that he is already in Florida working out and expects to be a full go for spring training. The 28-year-old southpaw pitched in just seven games with the Orioles in 2023, posting a 4.73 ERA in that time. He spent most of the season at Triple-A, tossing a 4.42 ERA across 21 outings, all of which were starts. He will compete for a left-handed bullpen role in the spring.
