Kodai Senga throws a gem on Friday
by Scott Youngson | Mets Correspondent | Fri, May 5th 10:13pm EDT
Kodai Senga won his fourth game of the year on Friday after shutting the Rockies out over six innings. Senga allowed only two hits and walked and struck out four.
Fantasy Impact:
Senga was wild again, throwing only 53 of his 101 pitches for strikes, but it worked for him in this game. He's an odd fantasy pitcher in that he has a sound ERA (3.38), K/9 (10.1), and win total (4) but a terrible WHIP (1.47). If you can live with the WHIP, Senga's been a solid fantasy starter to this point, though the 6.2 BB/9 is concerning.
