Taylor Ward was placed on the 10-day IL Sunday after suffering hamstring tightness during Friday’s game. Angels manager Joe Maddon stated they are hoping that Ward will only miss the minimum 10 days. (Jeff Fletcher on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Ward has had an excellent 2022 season so far. He is slashing .333/.443/.644, with 10 home runs, 26 RBIs, and one steal. While his season has been a welcome surprise to fantasy managers, he definitely leaves a hole on any roster when he is out of the lineup.
