The San Francisco Giants chased Severino Gonzalez from Saturday's game after just 2.2 innings. Gonzalez got shelled, giving up 6 earned runs on 7 hits. Gonzalez now has an ERA of 8.69 after the shellacking put on by the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez's inability to pitch deep into games has been as detrimental tot he Phillies bullpen as it has to his value. Gonzalez's FIP sits at a much friendlier 3.86 then his 8.69 ERA suggesting there is room for improvement but it is still too soon for fantasy owners to buy in.
