Fantasy Impact:
Newcomb was DFA'd by the Braves earlier this week, and the Cubs jumped on the chance to acquire the left-hander. Newcomb could benefit from a change of scenery and should slot right into the Cubs bullpen, with a potential to see some spot starts down the line.
