Jon Lester surrendered eight hits, four runs (three earned), and three walks while striking out six across five innings in a no-decision against the Cubs in his return to Wrigley Field on Saturday afternoon.
Fantasy Impact:
Lester entered the day having notched three consecutive quality starts over the past two weeks but simply didn't have his best stuff on Saturday. Nonetheless, the Cardinals rallied yet again in the later innings to win their 15th straight game. Lester will take a 4.62 ERA and 1.50 WHIP into his final regular season start next weekend against these same Cubs at home.
