Brett Anderson (4-9) took the loss Wednesday against the Cardinals, allowing six runs (two earned) on six hits in 1.2 innings. He walked one and did not record a strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
Anderson allowed a two-run homer in the first inning, then a series of errors totally derailed the second inning. Nonetheless, it was still a putrid performance by Anderson, who has a 4.30 ERA and 1.39 WHIP across 90 innings this season with 56 strikeouts.
